Bring your family on a fun and creative day trip between Bogense and Middelfart – to OSG Lokalpark in Skåstrup and Aagaardens Lys in Brenderup. Both places offer a lovely mix of play, relaxation and creativity for children and adults alike.
Prepare your favourite sandwiches and bring snacks and drinks from local roadside stalls.
Head to OSG Lokalpark.
Walk along the path to the woods or the sea and collect stones, twigs and pinecones for decorating or painting.
Enjoy your packed lunch in the covered area with benches.
Continue to Aagaardens Lys.
Dip your own candles and enjoy cake in the café while the candles set.
Start by preparing your favourite packed lunch along with some fruit, snacks and refreshing drinks. You can even buy local produce the day before from one of the farm shops around North Funen. And don’t forget to pack a blanket!
Once you’re ready, make your way to OSG Lokalpark near Skåstrup Beach – a small park with plenty of fun activities for all ages. Challenge each other to a game of swing tennis, football, disc golf and more.
If you're in the mood for a walk, follow the lovely trail into the woods or down to the sea. There you can gather natural materials such as twigs, pinecones and stones – perfect for crafting and painting. Just remember: only collect what fits in a hat.
After a morning full of fun and fresh air, enjoy your lunch at the covered picnic spot near 'klubhuset' (the clubhouse).
Then continue your trip to Aagaardens Lys in Brenderup for even more creative family fun. Here you can make your own unique hand-dipped candles in many beautiful colours and patterns.
While the candles set, enjoy delicious homemade cake and refreshments in the cosy café – or browse the charming little shop. However you choose to spend the time, you’re sure to have a lovely afternoon together.

Practical Information
Parking
OSG Lokalpark is located at Ørbækvej 5b, 5400 Bogense. There is a large free car park by the clubhouse, close to the park entrance. The green cloverleaf route in Skåstrup passes right through the parking area.
There is also free parking at Aagaardens Lys, Åbakkevej 14, 5464 Brenderup. Opening hours can be found on Facebook or by contacting the shop directly.
Toilets
There is a compost toilet at OSG Lokalpark, located near the shelters.
Equipment
At OSG Lokalpark, you can borrow a disc (also one for your dog) and rackets for swing tennis. You’ll find the equipment in a box near the fence by the car park.
