Café Kysten offers a large menu with popular dishes for both small and big appetites. Whether you stop by for lunch, a chilled glass of wine in the sun or coffee with classic Danish apple cake, there is room for both regular guests and new faces. The food can also be ordered as take-away.

The largest café garden in town with room to play

Behind the café, you will find a large and cosy café garden, making it a great place for a family break. While the adults relax, the children can play safely.

The café garden offers:

Children’s area: Playground with a pirate ship, moon cars, table football and basketball.
Accessibility: Ramps for wheelchairs, walkers and prams, as well as an accessible toilet.
Dogs are welcome: Four-legged friends are welcome in the garden.

Theme buffets and events

Café Kysten regularly hosts cosy theme nights and lunch buffets, ranging from generous brunch and Danish open-faced sandwiches to tapas and burger/spare ribs evenings. Registration is required for the events, which are announced on the café’s Facebook page, website and on signs in front of the café.

Practical information

The café is located at Adelgade 58 and has three entrances, including direct access between the free car park, City Parking, and the hotel passage, where you will find the gate to the café garden.

Opening hours vary depending on the season and private events. When the flags, tables and A-boards are out on the pedestrian street, the doors are open.
