Most people know the iconic “Panton Chair” and the colourful, sensory lamps. But did you know that Verner Panton’s uncompromising courage and wild ideas began right here on North Funen?

On this guided tour, a local Panton enthusiast takes you on a lively journey through history. With Bogense Harbour as a beautiful backdrop, we walk along the 22 striking photo panels on the mole. You’ll hear the special stories hidden behind the pictures – from Verner Panton’s dramatic youth in the North Funen resistance movement and his early, brilliant projects such as Kom-Igen Kroen by Langesø, to his major international breakthrough at the world’s leading design museums.

It is a compelling story about roots, curiosity and a designer who insisted that surroundings should be felt – and that “you sit better on a colour you like”.
