Look up and bring the family along. Hop in the car or get on your bikes, head out to the fields, find a spot by the roadside with friends and see the impressive balloons up close.

Visit Hårslev Sports Ground in the evening, where there will be activities and games, workshops, entertainment and plenty of family-friendly fun.

The balloon flights

It is quite a sight to see the huge balloons rise into the sky and drift across the beautiful countryside of North Funen, as Danish balloon pilots and their crews compete to see who can achieve the greatest precision. Three morning flights and four evening flights are planned.

The number of flights will depend on the weather, especially the wind direction, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for great ballooning weather over North Funen throughout the week.

Before and during the championships, you can keep up to date with where and when the balloons will be flying on the Facebook page “Danmarksmesterskabet i ballonflyvning – DreamBalloon Cup”.

Alongside the Danish Hot Air Balloon Championships, you can enjoy a welcoming evening area at Hårslev Sports Ground with plenty of activities, entertainment, things to do and food trucks.
