Onion Picking Day in North Funen

Come out to the onion field and fill your net with great Danish quality onions when Hasmark Vestergaard invites you to Onion Gleaning Day in collaboration with the Danish Cancer Society – North Funen Local Branch. It will be a cozy day for both children and adults, where you can walk between the rows and harvest onions directly from the field. Get your hands dirty, bend down to work, and stock up for your autumn and winter cooking. For 50 DKK, you buy an onion net that you can fill yourself with onions from the field. At the same time, you are supporting a good cause, as the proceeds from the day go to the "Knæk Cancer" (Break Cancer) campaign.

Bring your family for a different kind of day in the countryside, where you can take home fresh, locally grown onions while helping raise money for the fight against cancer.
