Klintebjerg Havørred Hotspot nr. 4

Klintebjerg Harbor offers fjord fishing with strong currents and great summer conditions – especially for night fishing. Note the seasonal closure from October 1st to the first Friday in March.

The main shipping channel in Odense Fjord runs close to Klintebjerg Harbor. Just north of the harbor, anglers can wade and fish along a short stretch that leads directly to the edge of deeper water. Sea trout are commonly found here from late spring until the seasonal fishing ban begins on October 1st.

Thanks to the strong tidal current in the channel, this is one of the few spots in the inner fjord where fishing remains worthwhile even during the hottest summer days. From June to August, night fishing is the preferred method.

You can also try the bay south of the harbor, but be aware of the protected zone around Lunde Å. As in the rest of Odense’s inner fjord, all recreational fishing is prohibited from October 1st through the first Friday in March.
