Flyvesandet i Berggård - Havørred Hotspot nr. 117

Flyvesandet is a classic stretch with varied fishing from winter to late summer. Explore the three hotspots with deep troughs and stay safe around the concrete groynes.

Winter and spring offer fluctuating fishing on this classic stretch. Good days alternate with quiet periods, but from mid-June the fishing becomes stable – and late summer is outstanding. In the first morning light of September, the trough can literally boil with sea trout mixed with large mullet.

Flyvesandet by the campsite consists of uninteresting sandy bottom, but three other spots stand out: The northern point at Flyvesandets Skov, the trough at the end of the gravel road below the boarding school, and finally the beautiful trough at the western end in front of Egebjerggård Manor.

Be careful climbing onto the worn concrete groynes – rusty rebar sticks out dangerously and can ruin your waders in seconds.
Best wind direction: S – W.
