Enebærodde Havørred Hotspot nr. 1
Discover Enebærodde – a scenic peninsula near Odense Fjord, ideal for fishing, cycling, and hiking. Loved by locals and perfect for summer night fishing.
Enebærodde – or simply “Odden,” as the locals affectionately call it – is a scenic peninsula that separates the shallow waters of Odense Fjord from the open sea of the Kattegat. The area is only accessible on foot or by bicycle, making it a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
In spring and autumn, fishing typically begins on the northern side, just a few hundred meters to the right of the parking area known as “De Dovnes Plads.” From there, anglers follow the coastline as far as time and energy allow. It’s about 7 kilometers to the tip of the peninsula, where the Enebærodde Lighthouse stands.
Sea trout can be caught all along the coast, but during summer, fishing is especially concentrated around the last kilometer near the lighthouse. Here, the water is deeper and the current stronger – ideal conditions for night fishing. In fact, this spot is considered one of the very best on the island of Funen for night fishing between June and August.
