It will be a fantastic experience to watch the large balloons take off and float over the beautiful landscapes of North Funen as Danish balloon pilots and their teams compete to become the best in precision flying. Three morning and four evening flights are scheduled.

The number of flights depends on the weather and especially the wind direction so we are keeping our fingers crossed for perfect flying conditions over North Funen this week.

Balloon flights

During the event, you can follow where and when the balloons will fly on the Facebook page “Danmarksmesterskabet i ballonflyvning – DreamBalloon Cup”. This page is updated when the event organisers announce the day’s flights.

Morning flights (Thursday to Saturday) are announced on the day at around 06:30, and evening flights (Wednesday to Saturday) at around 17:30.

Experience the Danish Championship from the sky

This year you have a truly unique opportunity: Step into the basket and experience the Danish Hot Air Balloon Championship from the sky!

DreamBalloon is offering exclusive flights during the championship, giving you the chance to get close to the action – with a front-row seat in the air.

The flights are planned to launch from the same area as the competition pilots and, if wind and weather permit, you may even float over one of the competition targets where the pilots aim for precise landings.
