Bus Trip to Kærsgaard Transport Museum
Visit Kærsgaard Estate to experience a premier exhibition of horse-drawn carriages and much more, while getting a unique look into local history.
Kærsgaard Transport Museum boasts a truly unique collection of horse-drawn carriages and equipment—ranging from vintage ambulances to King Frederik VIII’s personal Coupé. You'll also find classic vintage cars in the exhibition.
The harness room contains one of the largest collections in Denmark, with many items originating from famous Danish estates and manors.
In the stable, you can meet the 5 beautiful carriage horses currently residing there. Come and experience this fantastic collection, feel the history, and hear the stories behind these grand vehicles.
Bus Trips and Guided Tours
We are happy to help you arrange the perfect group outing. You can visit Kærsgaard Transport Museum on its own or combine it with a trip to the Morten Korch Museum. We highly recommend the "In Morten Korch’s Footsteps" tour: a local guide joins you on the bus, leading you through the scenic landscape along winding roads, past charming half-timbered houses and water mills.
