See the beautiful old wooden ships in Bogense with your family!
When Fyn Rundt for Preservation Worthy Sailing Ships starts in Bogense 20-22 July, you can go on a fun family outing!
- Pack a water bottle and some snacks
- Get out the trolley if you have one
- Book a table at Bogense Fiskehus to be sure of a seat if you want to eat in the late afternoon
- Drive towards the marina at Bogense Harbour and park
- From there, walk 3 minutes to the smooth harbour
- Explore between large and small beautiful old wooden ships
- Find the playground at Bogense Marinastrand and the harbour office and have fun
- Eat at Bogense Fiskehus at the end of the day
Pack your car with some provisions and possibly a trolley. Drive towards Bogense and Bogense Marina. As you walk from the marina towards the old harbour, there will be several paths leading you there.
The old harbour is full of beautiful wooden ships, large and small, and at some of the ships you are very welcome to come on board and take a closer look at the ropes, wheelhouse and below deck.
There are ice cream stalls and stands at the harbour where you can buy treats.

Stop by the tourist office for a children's bingo board with wooden ships - can you get a full board while walking around the harbour? There are many exciting things to see. Make sure to take a break at a bench and enjoy your snacks.
Head over to the playground and see if you can catch a sea urchin or two or try playing pirate.
When you get hungry, head back to the old harbour where Fiskehuset is located. They have many exciting dishes to delight young and old alike! And if you want to avoid fish, there are also children's dishes at Reumerts, Lovely Loui and Dampskibshuset, among others.
