Join this summer's coolest trip to beautiful Æbelø in a sea kayak! Wednesdays from 12 May to 4 August at 10:00-16:00.
Take part in the most fun trip to beautiful Æbelø! With sea kayaking to Æbelø, walking and dining on the island and a nice kayaking trip back. The tour starts, of course, with a half hour introduction to sea kayaking and exercises on the water, where everyone will become comfortable with sea kayaking. On Æbelø, you'll have time to explore the island and eat lunch before going back. You'll of course be introduced to sea kayaking before the trip!

Sea kayaking trip to Æbelø:
10:00 We meet and get to know the sea kayak, learn rowing techniques and how to avoid getting too tired and sore from rowing.
10:30: We set off for Æbelø on a lovely sea kayaking trip. The trip to Æbelø is about 1.5 hours long.
12:00: We are at Æbelø! Time to explore the island, rest a little and eat the packed lunches.
14.30: We leave the island - and now it's time for a kayak trip back to Funen.
16:00: We expect to be ashore by 16:00, where we'll all help packing the kayaks.
All participants are followed all the way round.
The tour takes place every Wednesday from 12 May to 4 August.
Meeting point: Parking lot at Nørrebystrand 10, 5400 Bogense, at 10:00
Price: DKK 450,- per person
Prerequisite for participation in the tour is that you are at least 14 years or have kayaking experience and that you can swim at least 200 meters.
But you don't need to have rowed before - we'll teach you the technique before the trip!
We'll bring: Double kayaks, paddles, life jackets and a good mood. We have life jackets in all sizes.
You'll bring: A packed lunch, a drink can with water, clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet and a good mood.
Nikolaj from Strandlykken is responsible for the tour and is a trained instructor and has rowed in the area many times - so you'll be in good hands!
Please note that there is no toilet on Æbelø or at the meeting place on Nørrebystrand.
