Explore the history and the beauty of the northern Funen countryside on a guided hike along the beautiful estates close to Bogense. The route is 16 km long.
Once upon a time, North Funen was divided into various estates, ruled by rich gentlemen and noble families. The soil was fertile and the landscape was beautiful, and today there are still many beautiful castles and manor houses on North Funen.
The ancient nobles have built great beautiful buildings that are also impressive to look at today. On this tour you will experience some of the greatness of the past. The tour goes through forests and past the Gyldensteen Estate and Sandagergård and the beautifully situated Sandager Church. Here you can feel the past and enjoy the beautiful idyllic landscape.
We'll cross the park at H.C. Andersen Golf overlooking the Kattegat.
We'll take a break at Sandagergård to enjoy a sandwich and a beer / water.
The guide will tell you about the landscape and its history along the way and will make sure everyone is on the right way.

The tour takes place at 10:00-15:00 on Friday, July 3, 17 and 31.
The meeting place is in the square in front of VisitNordfyn, Vestre Havnevej 9B, 5400 Bogense.
You can park in the large car park at Bogense Marina, which is close to VisitNordfyn. Parking is free here.
